Air Conditioning
Over two thirds of currently manufactured vehicles are now fitted with air conditioning systems and climate control systems as standard.
Having Air Con fitted to your vehicle is beneficial not just for those warmer summer months when it cools you down, but also for those colder winter months when it creates dry warm air which demists your car windscreen far more effectively.
There are of course various problems that can occur with your vehicles Air Conditioning System, from the refrigerant gasses depleting (by approx 15% per year) to a faulty Air Conditioning Pump.
Regular servicing can alleviate some of these problems as we check for: dried out seals, bacteria forming and perished hoses as standard. Picking up these faults early can save bigger faults occurring, thus saving what could be a costly repair bill at a later date.
As well as servicing your system, we have the equipment to re-gas your air con within an hour, or whilst you wait.
When you book in for a re-gas, we will also recommend that you add a special dye, so that if ever your system leaks, the dye will leave a yellow residue wherever the leak is allowing us or any other garage to locate the problem quickly and efficiently, possibly saving you time and money on possible future labour bills.
